Drew Finley is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Strong thick chested build, mature for his age. Simple turn and throw delivery mechanics, slow pace with low effort release, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill. Mid 80's fastball topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher, tries to throw to spots and works ahead in count. Curveball still developing, flashes good spin and some depth. Right handed hitter, full aggressive swings, looking to drive and lift the ball, early front side, has strength in his swing, can be long at times. Good student.

Drew Finley is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Larger build, fairly mature for age. Simple lift and turn delivery, somewhat cross body, high 3/4's release point. Low 80's fastball topped at 82 mph, have seen up to 86 since, occasional cutting action, nice feel for change up with some sink, big breaking slow curveball, has pitchability and throws strikes with all pitches. Right handed hitter, busy hand load, long rotational swing, flashes power potential.

Drew Finley is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Finley has a large frame with a tall strong build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. His arm works well and he has arm speed. Finley uses an inline delivery with balance and extension. He gets good movement on his fastball both to his arm side and glove side. He throws an 11/5 curveball with good shape and spin. Projectable arm and stuff on the mound. Finley has solid footwork around the bag at first with solid actions. He starts with a slightly open stance at the plate with an aggressive approach. He has some bat speed and pop when he gets extended. Interesting young player.
