Ty Robinson is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Monmouth Junction, NJ who attends South Brunswick. Very lean athletic pitcher who projects to add as his body fills out. Long arm action, over the top slot, long arm circle in back. Shows ball early, does a good job of getting online and throwing strikes with fastball to arm side. Threw consistent strikes to all parts of zone. Changeup has good arm action and late cut. Curveball with big depth, good three pitch mix. Left handed hitter with inside out swing and ability to take balls to the opposite field. Aggressive swing with leg kick trigger and projection for more pop as he develops. Ball comes off well. Good student.
