Chuck Olsen is a 2014 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Valley Cottage, NY who attends Nyack Senior. Stocky frame, looks frame. Looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.11 60 yard dash. Has a short, catcher's arm action from behind the plate, has the arm strength for the position. Makes accurate throws, needs to stay a little bit lower. Has the tools to catch. Right-handed batter, squares the ball up consistently. Has a very balanced swing and looks comfortable in the box. Middle of the field approach and gets good extension. Holds his hands low but gets to the ball quickly and flashes some power. Very good student.
