Chuck Olsen is a 2014 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Valley Cottage, NY who attends Nyack Senior High School. He has a medium frame and lean athletic build with room to fill out. During the catchers workout, he showed a quick transfer and release making solid throws. He has good actions and stays online with a solid arm. In the outfield, he works through the ball and has a short arm action with solid arm strength while making good throws. At the plate, he displayed a contact approach with a line drive swing plane and quickness in his bat. He competes at the plate and frustrates pitchers. Good Student.
