William Gordon is a 2006 shortstop/third baseman from LaGrange, GA with a muscular build at 6-1, 190 lbs. He plays shortstop at a high level now, with go quickness and a strong, accurate arm, but may end up at third base down the road. He's a 7.19 runner in the 60. Gordon has a short, compact swing with nice hand strength and quickness. He shows gap to gap power potential and makes solid line drive contact. Gordon's best "tool" might be his feel for the game, he knows how to play and has a great approach on the field.

William Gordon -- Gordon is a sophomore infielder with a good torso and a nice projectable build. He has very nice infield actions and good balance in the field. Gordon has some arm strength that’s going to improve with age. He’s a shortstop who might end up being a very good defensive third baseman at the next level. Gordon has a short, balanced approach at the plate and hits to the opposite field a lot. He looked very athletic. Only an "06" he has to be considered a very good prospect. William is an excellent student as well.
