Will Pichard -- Pichard is a tall and well developed junior infielder from Florida who is strong right now and could be really strong down the road. Despite his size, Pichard showed very nice actions defensively, with quick feet and good hands and enough arm strength to become a solid third baseman at the next level. We may have caught Pichard on a bad weekend with the bat, though. He was pulling off balls badly during games and wasn’t able to use his natural strength to generate the expected bat speed. During batting practice, Pichard did show loft power potential. He is a good student.

05 INF with a very good athletic body and some interesting skills. Nice arm probably projects at 3B best. The bat is a potential plus tool. The ball jumps fast off the wood. His swing is too long right now and he over strides. Lots of ability, keep a close eye on this kid.
