Victor Luque is a 2005 middle infielder from Aguas Buenas PR with a slender projectable build at 5 ft. 11 160 pounds. He is a switch hitter. From the right side, he has a short swing that he cuts off out front with a slash style swing. He has decent bat speed and showed good power to left field. From the left side, he starts with an open stance and finishes closed. He makes good contact with not as much power or bat speed as from the right side. Defensively, he has good actions with quick hands. He showed good arm strength at 80 mph across the infield with accuracy. He played well in the games and showed good defensive quickness. He is a very interesting athletic player and will make a very solid middle infielder at the next level.
