Santino Acuna is a 2013 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 230 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends St. Augustine. Acuna has a big frame with a thick build. Defensively he has developing catch and throw tools with longer transfers. His pop times will improve with gaining more ground and shortening his transfers a bit. At the plate, Acuna has good bat speed with present pop and more power potential in there. He stays inside the ball well and has an easy swing. Acuna made consistent hard contact in game and showed good game power with consistent hard contact to deep parts of the ball park. Acuna has good hitting tools and could really improve with some adjustments.
