Tim Dziergas is a 2016 LHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Darien, IL. Lean build, minimal present strength, very young look. Long loose arm action, extended 3/4's arm slot, low effort delivery and release, arm and delivery project well. Fastball to 75 mph, good late sinking/running life, shows command of his fastball, soft curveball with big slow 1/7 shape, some feel for his change up. Changes speeds effectively, pitches to contact and has good feel for his age. Left handed hitter, steps out, line drive swing plane, swings hard, stays over back side. Has potential as a pitcher when stronger, has nice feel for pitching and a sound delivery. Good student.
