Christopher Cerniglia is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Monroe Twp HS. Slender young build, has some wiry strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, deep arm bar load, gets front shoulder very turned to start swing, line drive swing plane, short stride into contact, tends to stay closed during swing, hits to all fields. 7.29 runner, 4.52 home to first base, has some quickness in the infield and works through the ball well, quick exchange and release, has arm strength and good carry on his throws, will get off balance at times in his effort to be quick. Also pitched, high energy delivery with a long extended arm action, fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher, threw an occasional soft short slider.
