James Weeks is a 2014 OF/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Churchill. Has a medium compact strong build with good athleticism. Throws from straight over the top from the outfield with a strong accurate arm and good actions. Has a good first step with lots of speed which allows him to run down balls in the gap. Starts with a high hand set and closed stance at the plate. Is a gap to gap hitter with pop, he uses his lower half well has a line drive swing plane with good bat speed and strong hands. When he is on base he is very disruptive and makes the pitcher think about him. Is a great student and an interesting prospect to follow.
