Brandon Perez is a 2015 SS/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Ladera Ranch, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength for age. Very easy and natural shortstop actions, very balanced, soft hands, arm strength with plus accuracy, makes all the plays, only present drawback is pure speed/quickness. Right handed hitter, hands and weight over back side, sees ball very well, present bat speed, fast hands, gap power, occasional back side collapse when looking to lift, simple swing mechanics, squares the ball up. Very mature player for his age and performs. Very good student.
