Florencio Perez is a 2013 2B/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Hanford, CA who attends Hanford. Perez has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He has nice hands defensively with quick transfers and a quick release. He has good feet and good actions with solid 2B tools. He has developing arm strength with some carry. At the plate, Perez hasa rotational swing with a line drive path. He uses a short load to start his swing and he has some bat speed. Perez made solid contact in BP and gets some extension in his swing. Excellent student.
