Jordan Smith is a 2014 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Trinity Episcopal. Medium frame, thin build with room to fill. Low hand set, spread stance in the box, direct hand path, short contact oriented swing. Long finish, low effort swing, solid bat speed, doesn't incorporate lower half very much and doesn't generate much present power as a result but has more raw power than he shows. Good body control to swing, hit well in games. Online throws, solid athleticism in the outfield, short arm action. Good student.
