Trenton Solsma is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Dakota Dunes, SD who attends Bishop Heelan HS. Athletic build with present strength and room to fill. Infield tools project at 3B. Stays back on ball, sure handed with open lower half. Flashes some athleticism, throws online from 3/4 slot. Left-handed hitter, does a good job of using lower half. Has hip rotation and makes solid contact to the opposite field. Stays inside the ball well and squares up pitches. Does a good job of seeing off-speed pitches and adjusting. Very good student.
