Taylor Moen is a 2007 OF/P with a 6'1'', 215 lb. frame from Plano TX, who attends Jesuit College Prep. He has a muscular, stocky build, especially in his lower half. Moen ran the 60 in 7.55 and threw 71 mph during outfield drills. He moves well to the ball in the outfield for his size but his arm strength will limit him to left field. Moen hits from a open and wide stance with calm hands. His first real movement to start his swing is to collapse his back side, which leaves him with a lofted upper cut swing and under the ball on most swings. Moen has some raw bat speed due to his strength but his approach leaves him off balance on most swings. He has the raw tools and strength to hit and will improve with some adjustments. Moen is also a very good student.
