Taylor Harrington is a 2007 3B/OF/2B that attends IMG Academy and resides in Rumford, RI with a 5'10", 185 lb. frame. Taylor has a thick build and showed one of the most advanced feels for the game of any player at the event. At the plate Taylor has good bat speed with quick wrists and a pull approach. Taylor has somewhat of an abbreviated finish in his approach and needs to make sure he gets his hands extended through the ball. He showed the tools necessary to hit early in his college career. Taylor is very solid at both third base and the corner outfield positions. He gets good carry on his throws with a short compact arm action. In the field he shows especially good footwork and looks to project best as a third baseman. On the mound Taylor throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action. He get a good downhill plane on his pitches and uses his lower half well. Taylor has a good feel for how to change speeds and features a solid straight change up. Taylor looks like a solid infield prospect for a mid to high-level Division I program.

At the plate Taylor hits from a short crouched stance and centers the ball well with good bat speed. He has good gap to gap pop and could hit for some power at some point in college. Taylor Harrington is a 2007 third baseman/pitcher from St. Raphael Academy in Rumford, Rhode Island, with a strong, stocky 5'10"/180 pound frame. Taylor was named to the Top Prospect Team. As a right handed hitter, he has a no stride approach at the plate with a very quick bat. Harrington generates good bat speed as a line drive hitter. He makes consistent hard contact and hit a deep homerun to left field in game action. Taylor has a strong arm across the infield at 82 mph. He has good feet and is solid defensively. On the mound, Harrington pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with above average arm speed. He has good balance and gets leverage in his delivery. Taylor throws an 81 mph fastball and an 11-5 breaking curveball at 68 mph with good depth. He is a potential two-way player and is a definite follow.

Taylor Harrington is a 2007 right handed pitcher/third baseman from Rumford, RI, with a 5'9", 168 pound frame. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with an explosive and deceptive delivery. His fastball was down in the zone at 79 mph with some movement. His secondary pitch was a tight 12-6 curveball at 64 mph. Harrington also showed a strong arm on the infield with an 81 mph throw across the diamond during workouts. At the plate, he hits from an open stance with a short stride with good line drive power while having a good understanding of the hitting zone. Harrington is a player to watch in 2007.
