2004 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Taylor is a 2005 grad from Norco High School in Riverside California with a medium lean frame. He hits out of a narrow base in the batters box and likes to stand tall with a small trigger and a controlled line drive type of swing. Taylor showed good life in the field, with some nice foot quickness and sure hands to make the routine play. He has athletic actions. Has the ability to make a big impact at his present level and as he adds more strength he will compete at the next level. More upper body strength will definitely help his projection. He's a good infielder with definite hitting ability. Taylor is also a very good student.
