David "Trey" Abney is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Dayton, OH who attends Miami Valley HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Toe tap double load, foot down late, aggressive swing, swings hard, some developing bat speed, good back side use, tends to hit around ball, should continue to improve with more strength. 7.19 runner, light on his feet in the outfield, gets to ball quickly, still developing footwork and raw arm strength. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, some cross body on release, has some arm speed, fastball to 75 mph, sweeping curveball.
