Anderson Baldy is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Lean young build, lots of room to get stronger. Balanced leg raise delivery, long arm action, 3/4's arm slot, can use lower half more for added velocity. Fastball to 81 mph, maintained velocity well, works downhill with fastball, mostly straight with cutting action at times. Good curveball spin and velocity, good 2-plane depth at times, some feel for change up with good arm speed and come cutting action. 7.35 runner, showed his arm strength from the outfield, low 3/4's release slot. Left handed hitter, rotational upper half swing, moves into contact, pull approach and tends to hit around the ball, line drive swing plane. Very good student.

Anderson Baldy is a 2013 LHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Long slender build, room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, long arm action, good use of front side, slight donwhill plane. Deliberate delivery, online mechanics, works quickly, lacks extension out front. Big depth on curveball with 1-7 break, good shape and depth on slider, good command to arm side of the plate, should also be able to locate glove side well with more extension to delivery. Potential to improve. Excellent student.
