Cole Wessling is a 2013 IF/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Lantana, TX who attends Guyer HS. Nice athletic build, strong and still projectable. Right handed hitter, very spread stance, long wrapped swing, upper cut swing plane, long and loose extension out front, has some bat speed and gap power, can shorten up, strength and hitting tools to develop. 6.95 runner. Also pitched, low hand delivery, long wind mill arm action, straight over the top release point, fluid arm and stays balanced well. Fastball topped at 80 mph, mostly straight but locates well, big breaking curveball with 12/6 shape, good feel for curveball and throwing strikes, effective outing. Good student.
