Cobie Vance is a 2015 2B/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Pine Forest HS. Shorter strong athletic build. 6.97 runner, quick feet on defense, stays balanced and has lots of range, quick release on throws, tries to get too flashy at times when not necessary. Right handed hitter, aggressive cut at the plate, strong quick hands, swings up to the ball and creates top spin, has some gap power, front foot tends to get down late impacting timing, good bat speed and hard contact when everything comes together. Good student, verbal commitment to Alabama.
