Justin Bruce is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Willow Glen HS. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.01 runner, plays hard and maximizes speed, good range in the outfield, aggressive to the ball, can slow down and improve footwork, good carry on throws. Also plays first base, very agile with soft hands. Right handed hitter, good swing path, has strength in his swing, bat speed, gap type line drive power, will overswing at times, runs the bases very aggressively. Also pitched, compact leg raise delivery, clean arm circle, high 3/4's release, some deception, ball gets on hitters quickly. Fastball to 83 mph, cuts FB at times, hard curveball spin, tight and sharp at times. Nice all around player with plenty of tools, plays the game the right way. Good student.
