Taylor King is a 2012 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Water Valley, MS who attends Water Valley HS. Broad shouldered build, projects to add more strength. Right handed hitter, straight stance, limited weight shift, aggressive swing, long level swing, mostly line drive contact, ball comes off the barrel well, can shorten up and learn to move through contact better to use his tools/leverage. Solid first base tools on defense, 7.41 runner. Also pitched. Easy on line delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, minimum effort delivery, could use lower half more. Fastball to 79 mph, good 12/6 downer curveball with sharp biting action, good feel for curveball, occasional change up. Has the potential to improve on the mound. Good student.
