Jack Flaherty is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends Harvard Westlake HS. Long and lanky build with good present strength, very projectable. Right handed hitter, high hand start, long loose swing with very good bat speed, ball jumps and carries, gap to gap power, hits the ball hard to all fields, high ceiling hitting tools. Profiles at third base but still very athletic at shortstop, quick hands and exchange, good double play turns, can make the acrobatic play, shows range, release/arm action can get long at times, plenty of arm strength. Has run 6.8 this summer. Has all the tools and plays hard. Good student.
