Evan Hirschbaum is a 2013 1B/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Plainedge. Good athletic build with length and strength. Solid fielder in the outfield with feel and online throwing mechanics. Low 3/4 arm slot. Also showed well defensively at 1B. Right handed hitter. High hands, slightly open stance. Gets very wide with base. Good leverage. Took an excellent round of BP, consistently squaring balls to the pull side. Definite juice in there. Long swing with looseness and good extension. More power to come. Good student.
