Jason Adams is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage HS. Athletic build with good present strength. Solid third base actions defensively, quick release with soft hands, throws have some carry, 7.65 runner, some one step quickness laterally. Right handed hitter, open stance, busy hand load, rotational swing, has some bat speed, could extend/separate better out front, swings hard and stays on top of the ball, line drive contact to all fields. Also pitched, compact arm action, fast paced delivery with some effort at release, 3/4's release. Fastball topped at 81 mph, good arm side run at times. Soft sweeping slider, nice change up with sink and run. Very good student.
