Damon Haskett is a 2014 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Fayette County HS. Shorter frame, but looks very strong and thick. Has good present strength, ran a 7.53 60 yard. Shows arm strength from shortstop, gets rid of the ball quickly, easy loose arm action, solid actions with room to improve, a little inconsistent with his throws across the diamond. Switch hitter, projects better from the right hand side, has a line drive swing path, keeps things simple and compact at the plate, doesn't get cheated, shows some bat speed, hits from a slightly open stance, very patient approach. Good bat to keep an eye on. Also pitches, up to 78 mph with his fastball, didn't show secondary pitches. Balanced, repeatable delivery and gets good leg drive, pitches under control, high 3/4 arm slot, arm works well. Good student.

Switch hitter, hits from an open stance, leg lift timing mechanism, low hand set. Better hitter from the right side at present, contact approach, long swing, uses opposite field well. Solid defensive tools, soft hands, gets rid of it quickly, accurate throws, balanced actions. Very good student.
