He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He has solid mechanics and an online delivery with a downward plane. Prosapio has solid command of his pitches but needs to improve it. His fastball has lift at 83 mph and a big 11-5 curveball at 66 mph. Stephen hits from a slightly open stance with a small stride. He has a short swing and makes consistent contact. Prosapio has short arm action from first base with an accurate arm at 71 mph. He receives the ball well around the bag. Stephen is an excellent student.

He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action. He has an online delivery with a downward plane to the plate. Prosapio keeps his fastball down at 81 mph. He throws a solid 11-5 curveball at 63 mph and mixes in a 75 mph splitter. Stephen hits from an open stance with a relaxed approach. He looks to pull the ball and makes hard contact. Stephen Prosapio is a 2008 RHP/1B from Nanuet, New York. He is an excellent pitching prospect. At 6'1", 160 lbs., he has a long and lean pitcher's body with broad shoulders, and is very athletic. He has good arm speed out of a ¾ arm slot, and his mechanics were sound. Prosapio has a quick wind up with good balance. He finished his pitches well with good arm side run to his 81 mph fastball. Prosapio's curveball showed 11/5 spin, with tight rotation. He has excellent poise and pitchability for a 2008 player with very good control. His change up was 70 mph with solid sink and fade. As of now we feel Steven has two pitches that are on the way to being considered plus pitches. His fastball, which had good late life and run, and his curveball, which was tight and showed good depth. At the plate, he hit out of a closed stance with good balance. He hit some solid line drives to all fields during BP with an aggressive approach at the plate. He wants to hit, and he will not get cheated. From the outfield, Steven showed a good and accurate arm with good carry. He was fluid and showed good athleticism, and the ability to get his body into the proper throwing position before catching the ball. We like him as an outfielder, but his future lies on the mound. Prosapio is a must follow.
