Geoffrey King is a 2014 SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Southaven, MS who attends Southaven HS. Lean and loose middle infielder's build, has some wiry strength. 6.76 runner, very good agility and quickness on defense, smooth actions, good footwork, quick double play turns, can make plays on the run, playable arm strength helped by release. Switch hitter, same swing mechanics both sides, bit better bat speed right handed, stays short and quick to the ball both sides, has some bat speed, line drive contact to all fields, good instincts on the bases. Also pitched, mid 70's fastball, change up best off speed. Nice athlete who will keep improving with additional strength. Good student.
