Ryan Tapani is a 2013 RHP/SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Wayzata, MN who attends Providence Academy. Very projectable athlete with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Slow tempo delivery on the mound. Stays balanced with short stride. Long arm action in back, smooth arm action with more projection for more velocity in future. Arm action projects. Curveball has short break with solid feel. Changeup flashed well with fade. Very good defensive IF, quick feet, arm action comes very easy. More strength to come. Right handed hitter. Backside hitter, hands work. Showed ability to go to all fields. More to come with additional strength. Big potential.
