Tyler Sellers is a 2015 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Locust Grove HS. Sellers has a Medium sized frame with a good lean build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. He pitches with effort and opens his frontside a bit early. Sellers gets some run on his fastball and he also throws a 12/6 curve ball with good shape to it. He also gets good sinking action on his change up at 73 MPH. Sellers throws downhill well when he keeps his frontside closed. At the plate, he starts with an open stance with a wide base. He has some strength in his swing and showed some occasional pop. Sellers has bat speed and solid hitting tools to improve. Defensively, Sellers has good footwork around the bag and good hands. Solid two-way player with good tool set to improve with. Top Prospect Team.
