Shawn Nadeau is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Groton, CT who attends Fitch. Medium build athlete with room to add strength. Very quick, compact mechanics on mound. Throws from 3/4 slot with medium kick and good mechanics. Short arm action with clean release. Fastball consistently around 80 with arm-side run. Maintained velo from stretch. Curveball with 1/7 spin had good break and was thrown for strikes. Changeup at 65 has potential with better arm action. Right-handed bat with lots of pre-swing movement. Rotational swing with a pull approach. Will benefit from additional strength. Good student.
