Nate Dupree is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Lean young build, long legs, very projectable physically. Clean delivery mechanics, gets turned and balanced well, long loose arm action, 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot, finishes well to the plate. Steady low 80's fastball, good downhill angle when staying above the ball, will miss up on occasion, good fastball sink when down, will occasionally cut glove side. Gets proper shape and spin on curveball, good depth at times, tends to let up on curveball with inconsistent release point. All the tools to keep developing as a pitcher with more strength/physical maturity. Left handed hitter, short inside swing from a narrow base, mid to opposite field contact. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
