William "Bucky" Locke is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Baker, FL who attends Baker HS. Slender young build, good strength projection. Simple turn and throw delivery, good balance and extension, 3/4's release point, tends to throw a bit hunched over and loose height/angle to the plate. Throws almost all fast balls, 4 seamer at 87-89 mph, turns over 2-seamer at 84-85 mph, outstanding fastball life at times, will get lots of ground balls, does a good job spotting fastball around the zone. Rare curveball. Will need to develop a breaking ball but can really pitch with his fastball. Good swing mechanics, loose easy extension with loose hands, could develop some power with added strength.
