Benjamin Sonberg is a 2006 right handed pitcher/outfielder from Bow HS in Bow, New Hampshire, with a tall and lean 6'0"/152 pound frame. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and good arm speed. He has a balanced delivery and good command of his pitches. Sonberg throws an 84 mph fastball as well as an 11-5 breaking curveball with depth that he throws consistently for strikes. Benjamin has an accurate arm from the outfield with a good release and very good carry at 84 mph. As a right handed hitter, he hits from a wide base with an open stance. He is a contact hitter with good balance at the plate and very good bat speed. Sonberg is a potential two way player.
