John Thomas Mauldin is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends St Michael's HS. Very strong, well proportioned build, looks taller than listed. Right handed hitter, spread stance, big leg raise trigger, gets foot down in time, long aggressive swing with lift and extension, big bat speed and power potential, ball jumps hard off the barrel, can handle top velocity, high ceiling hitter. 6.87 runner, good balance, compact arm with good carry and accuracy, makes plays, can improve hands. Also pitched, slow paced cross body delivery, mid 80's fastball to 86 mph, big breaking curveball is effective. Power is his big tool.
