Tyler Bratton is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Porter, TX who attends Northeast Christian Academy. Medium build, some compact strength. High leg lift delivery, gets closed and balanced over the rubber, some effort at release, tends to pull off the plate, compact arm action, high 3/4's release. Steady 76-78 mph fastball, good downhill angle but mostly straight, 11/5 curveball with some 11/5 depth. Good field actions at first base, fields smoothly out front, 7.36 runner. Right handed hitter, rotational swing, good balance, patient game approach, pretty short to the ball. Good student.
