William Gietema is a 2011 OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Greenhill School. Strong athletic build, physically mature. 7.06 runner, good first step quickness. Bent knee stance, toe tap trigger, sits over his back side, limited stride/weight shift, generates some bat speed from his strength, looks to pull, some lift, upper body swing, uses his hands well at times, can incorporate lower half more for additional bat speed. Did not take outfield drills. Good student.
