William Penelas is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends American Senior HS. Lean, athletic build with lots of room to add strength. Balanced delivery, does a good job of staying online. Throws from 3/4 slot with long arm action. Tall on the backside, stays tall during delivery. Around the zone with three pitches, repeats delivery. Fastball up in the zone with consistent mid 70s velocity up to 80. Curveball showed 11/5 break. Projects to gain more velocity as his body adds strength. Good student.
