Ian Trenchard is a 2016 MIF with a 5-1 100 lb. frame from Avon, CT who attends Renbrook High School. Has a young developing body with room to fill out. During the infield workout, he showed that he has an idea in the field. He fields the ball out front and works through well while staying online with solid actions. At the plate, he displayed a contact approach with a line drive swing plane. He has a short compact stroke with good balance. In the game, he put a solid swing on a 82 MPH fastball that he hit for a double to RCF gap.
