Matt Morales is a 2015 SS/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Wellington HS. Medium, highly athletic, wiry build with additional room to fill out. Ran a 6.78 60 yard dash. Very effective on the charge at shortstop and has well above average raw arm strength. Shows good range and very quick feet. Moves up the middle well and controls his body. High upside defender. Bats right-handed, works from a wide setup and looks to pull the ball. Showed good carry to center field and stays compact to the ball. Uses his lower half and stays inside the ball well. Good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
