Steven Sensley is a 2013 OF/1B/LHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Louisiana State University Laboratory HS. Strong athletic build, has gained strength since last seen in the summer. Left handed hitter, calm swing approach, open stance, long loose swing, swings hard and creates very good bat speed, hard pull contact, shows big power projection, tends to hit too around the ball at times. 7.15 runner, very sound outfield fundamentals and footwork, very good arm strength, accurate throws, shows his athleticism and arm strength at first base as well. Also pitched, short quick arm action, on line delivery, mid 80's fastball topped out at 86 mph, big depth to curveball, mixes well and pounds the strike zone, potential 2-way prospect with added velocity.
