Hits from a spread stance, aggressive swing, effort to it, good bat speed, ball jumps off barrel when centered. Good balance, strong lower half, good eye, strong at contact, lacks extension. Playable arm strength, good defensive footwork, solid defensive tools for corner position. Bat first prospect but brings some defensive value to the table as well.

Mijon Cummings is a 2014 3B/OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Lutz, FL who attends G.Steinbrenner HS. Big stocky build, very good strength for his age. Deep load, gets to front side early, long rotational swing with line drive plane, generates bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard at times, will have to improve hand use, has the strength to keep improving. 7.56 runner, sound foot work at third base, soft hands, arm strength still developing. Son of former big league outfielder Midre Cummings. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
