Evan Kruczynski is a 2013 LHP with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Franklin, WI who attends Franklin HS. Tall slender young build, looks taller than listed, narrow features, long limbs. High energy delivery with lots of moving parts, big leg raise, some back side collapse, high deep arm circle, extended 3/4's to mid 3/4's release, some effort at release, long fast arm that appears faster than present velocity indicates. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side tail, tends to throw fastball to arm side, ball gets on hitters quickly with some deception. Very good change up, nice sink with ideal arm speed, has confidence in change up. Didn't use curveball much, has fair spin and some power, slurve type shape with occasional depth, could use more. Works quickly and is around the strike zone. Very projectable body and arm, less projectable mechanics/delivery. Good student, signed with East Carolina.
