Scott Rembisz is a 2006 RHP from Morgan HS in Clinton, CT, with a 6'1", 220 lb. frame. He has a thick build and a key to his future success is how serious he is about his physical conditioning. Rembisz has solid, repeatable pitching mechanics with good drive to the plate. He throws all three of his pitches to spots and fields his position well because he finishes his delivery is a strong, balanced fundamental position. Rembisz fastball was 85-87 mph with good sinking action. His curveball was 68-71 mph with a big, deep sweeping break. Hitters got poor swings off Rembisz's curveball and he showed the ability to pitch to different spots in the strike zone with this pitch. Rembisz maintained good arm speed on his change up and the pitch had good deception at around 80 mph. We've seen Rembisz pitch in games often over the past two years and he's been consistently dominating. It was the same thing at the National Showcase; he easily retired some of the best hitters in the country. He's not particularly projectable, but his stuff is good enough to win and he knows how to use it. Rembisz should be very effective, very quickly at the next level.

Rembisz is a big junior right hander from Connecticut with very good present skills. He’s very strong right now but will have to watch his conditioning as he gets older. Rembicz has been consistently successful at PG/WWBA events in the past and threw well in Fort Myers, especially for a Northeast kid. He has a loose arm and a sound delivery. Rembisz’ fastball was in the 85-87 mph range with some tailing action. His 69-71 mph curveball has a big wide break and he does a good job locating this pitch. His upper 70’s change up is a quality pitch for him, too. Rembisz has a good idea about how to mix up his pitches, change speeds and keep the ball down in the strike zone and when you can do that, you’re going to be successful at most levels. Rembisz doesn’t have much future projection to his physical skills but he has DI talent right now and has proven to us that he’s a top notch competitor as well. Rembisz has also shown some talent with the bat. His above average strength is a big plus with the wood bat and he has definite power potential. Rembisz does a good job of keeping his swing short and letting his strong hands work to the ball. Depending on how he develops as a pitcher and who is recruiting him, college coaches might want to think about Rembisz as a combo RHP/DH type.

Scott Rembisz is a 2006 right handed pitcher/first baseman from Clinton, Connecticut. He has a solid 6'1", 209 pound frame, and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team. On the mound, his fastball was 86 mph with an easy ¾ arm action, and strong powerful legs. His curveball was 68 mph with a slow 10-4 break that got better as the game went on. Rembisz registered 5 strikeouts in his 3 innings of work. At the plate, he swings an overaggressive bat with some good power. He hit a double to the right center field gap off an 87 mph fastball. Despite his power potential at the plate, we see his college future on the hill.

Scott Rembisz -- Rembisz is a mature strong bodied sophomore at 6-1, 205 lb from Connecticut who projects a lot of strength. He has very good arm strength for his age and threw a steady 83-84 mph from the mound from an open, slinging delivery that can definitely be tightened up a lot. Rembisz has an aggressive presence on the mound that we liked, too. He showed hitting and power potential at the plate. This is a talented young man who should keep getting better and better at the next level.
