Grant Berry is a 2015 2B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Hits from an upright setup in the box with a low hand set, direct hand path with a quick line drive swing plane, throws hands well, can utilize more lower half to drive the baseball. Good arm action, solid arm strength with good projection, plays deep. Runs well, good all around athlete, posted impressive 6.87 60 yard dash time. Good student, named to National Underclass Main Event top prospect team.
