Tucker Baca is a 2014 LHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. Tall long limbed build, some present strength, projects well physically. Works from the stretch, low 3/4's arm slot, good pace to delivery, stays on line and repeats well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, good sink and run due to arm slot, hits spots well with fastball but pitches mostly to his arm side. Good sink and life on change up, tends to slow arm at times, sweeping slider rarely used but needs to be mixed in more. Fields his position well and works quickly. Projectable southpaw with loose arm and good deception, should keep improving.
