Jorge Zepeda is a 2012 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Pico Rivera, CA who attends St. Paul HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, reverse stride from spread stance, raises up through contact, aggressive swing, long and strong to the ball, shows lift to the middle of the field, squares ball up consistently, good aggressive baserunner. Good footwork at first base, showed ability to pick the ball, soft hands, strong accurate arm. Didn't pitch but has thrown 86 off the mound this fall. Has the tools and strength to keep improving.
