Scott Berke is a 2006 outfielder from Las Vegas, NV with an athletic build that shows good core strength at 5-10, 175 lbs. He has very good first step quickness and overall speed and ran the 60 in 6.67. He is an advanced defensive outfielder who shows good instincts and a very strong throwing arm with on line carry and accuracy at 84 mph. Berke has very strong hands which help him at the plate. He hits from a tall stance with low hands and has a quick, line drive swing. Berke has shown us the ability to go to all fields and hit the ball consistently hard. He has solid gap to gap power and with his speed and hustling approach to the game should be an extra base machine at the next level. Berke is going to play hard and maximize his potential on the field. He is an excellent student as well.

Scott Berke is a 2006 outfielder from Las Vegas Nevada with a strong athletic build at 5'10", 175 pounds. He has a very good approach at the plate with strong quick hands that generate very good bat speed. His hands load in a nice power position and he has a fluid weight transfer. He put on an awesome display during BP, blasting 2 HR's out of a minor league park. The ball explodes off the bat with a big sound. He has excellent instincts in the outfield with very good range and a quick 1st step burst. He can track down a lot of tough balls. He showed arm strength at 83 mph with good accuracy. He runs very well, and had the fastest 60 time at the event with a 6.93. He is a highest level prospect and has good draft potential for 2006. Scott is a top student.

Scott Berke is a 2006 outfielder from Las Vegas, Nevada, with an athletic 5'10", 175 lb. frame. Berke can go get balls in center field with the best of them. He has plus range and quickness that allows him to cover a great deal of ground. He also has arm strength (84OF) with a quick arm and very good accuracy. Berke has an advanced approach at the plate with good balance and a quick bat. He has some surprising power for his size, but is a line drive hitter with good hand strength. He is quick on the bases and has good instincts as well. Berke is a player that will make things happen at the top of the order, and will take base hits away when in center field.
