Jack Kaloogian is a 2013 OF/LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends Canyon Crest Academy. Kaloogian has a large frame with a lean build. He has good feet defensively with solid OF actions. He has developing arm strength with long transfers and release. At the plate, Kaloogian starts with a square stance and uses a slight leg lift to start his swing. He maintains balance through his swing and has a line drive swing path. He gets some extension in his swing and he has some gap pop. Kaloogian has bat speed and made consistent game contact. Very good student.
